Many years ago, FARA recognized how much technology would impact the claims management process and invested heavily to develop systems that not only would provide unmatched technology and usability, but also stand the test of time.
FARA's in-house software development team has developed six web-based applications that have all been built with extensive customization depending on client needs. These systems cover all aspects of the claim process to premium auditing and underwriting, to claim adjudicating, to Medicare reporting.
FARA's web-based applications are hosted in a Tier IV data center with redundant system hardware and architecture with on-site response to hardware and operating system issues. Data is backed up to multiple off-site locations, and secured so that it is always safe and never lost. Our disaster recovery plan includes activation of a warm site that is not more than an hour behind the primary site's data condition. Our organization has a business continuity plan which includes guaranteed office space and necessary services to continue to support the application and service our customer's needs.
