
Catastrophe Services works closely with clients to identify individual needs before and after a catastrophe (CAT) event. FARA professionals will customize a "pre-cat" plan to mitigate losses in the event of any CAT event. CAT services work includes hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, fires, floods and ice/hail storms. The CAT team at FARA can and does customize services to meet our customers' needs. As an example, FARA CAT established a call center virtually overnight in order to help a client meet explosive call-in claim volume associated with the Katrina event (70 hotline operators taking over 1,300 call per day). Regardless of the size, scope, type or location of a catastrophe, FARA is ready to respond immediately.
A key mission of FARA Catastrophe Services is to help the victims of natural disasters in a timely fashion while controlling the costs of our clients. Insureds need help when a catastrophe strikes and the FARA CAT team of over 400 independent adjusters are immediately able to respond to the needs of the Insureds and Insurance Companies in a timely manner.
