FARA Announces the Addition of Kayla Tortorich and Brandt Lorio

Mandeville, LA, September 29, 2010

FARA Insurance Services, a provider of claims administration and risk management solutions nationwide, is pleased to announce the addition of Kayla Tortorich and Brandt Lorio to its Management team.

Ms. Tortorich will serve as Vice President – Healthcare Management. Kayla will be responsible for overseeing all healthcare management related duties including Utilization Review and Case Management.

Ms. Tortorich joins FARA after successfully running a consulting firm where she assisted Medical Management companies develop Medical Secondary Payer Compliance Programs as well as performed Medicare Set-Asides and Case Management. Also, during her tenure with another national TPA, Kayla managed a diverse nursing team that performed case management, utilization review, and medical review services.

Kayla received her BSN and RN from Louisiana State University Medical Center. Additionally, Kayla is both a Certified Medicare Set-Aside Consultant and a Certified Case Management Professional and has performed in those capacities. Kayla is also a chairperson of NAMSAP (National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals). Ms. Tortorich will be based out of FARA's corporate office in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Mr. Lorio will serve as Assistant Vice President – Legal and Compliance. Brandt will be responsible for litigation management, government regulatory compliance, company licensing, contract administration, and providing legal advice to the Executive team and the Board of Directors.

Brandt's employment history includes serving for nearly ten years as General Counsel for a national metal recycling company where he performed functions such as corporate mergers and acquisitions, government regulatory compliance, contracts, federal and state employment law, workers’ compensation, patent/trademark law, among many other legal functions within the corporation.

Immediately prior to joining FARA, Brandt was an attorney for Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr and Smith focusing on maritime/admiralty and environmental/product liability law.

Mr. Lorio received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Brandt is a member of various boards, including the Northshore Community Partnership Panel for the Louisiana Bar Foundation and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services serving as President. Mr. Lorio will be located in FARA's corporate office in Mandeville, Louisiana.
