FARA Property and Catastrophe Services utilizes seasoned and technically qualified independent contractor adjusters to assist in damage assessment of areas affected by hurricanes, tornados,
storms and flooding. As a FARA Catastrophe contractor, you will work independently in the field, conducting property inspections to assess damages within a specific catastrophe affected area.
The quantity of work assigned will depend upon your desire, capacity and quality of work product.
Contractor Requirements:
- Five or more years of experience
- Valid Adjuster’s License applicable to State of deployment
- Ability to organize and manage a geographic territory of assignments
- Ability to successfully meet customer and company time service standards
- Ability to ascend, measure, diagram and photograph roofs
- Ability to maintain product quality and timeliness according to industry standards and specific client requirements
- Ability to provide superior customer service to FARA Property and Catastrophe Services or its clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Intermediate/advanced computer and typing skills, including the proficient use of estimating software (Xactimate, MS&B, PowerClaim or Simsol), email, single file electronic work product and
Internet applications
- Strong sense of self-motivation
- Reliable transportation
- Computer (preferably laptop) with high speed Internet access, cell phone, ladder, and digital camera
- Observe business casual dress code
- Travel to the affected area within 24 hours of deployment
- Arrange for your own accommodations
- Work a minimum of twelve (12) hours every day of the week while deployed to an affected area
As a contractor adjuster, FARA Catastrophe will extend to you the following:
- Prompt commission payments - 2 times per month
- Direct Deposit if requested
- Professional, prompt, objective and, if needed, helpful supervisory file reviews
- Assistance with policy coverages and interpretations, if necessary
- Paperless work environment
- Access to our proprietary web & software applications to maintain the uniformity of work product submitted by all FARA Catastrophe Adjusters
