Laura F. Tarantino, Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Laura Tarantino is the senior vice president and general counsel for FARA. She is responsible for all administrative, legal, and regulatory functions. Laura is also responsible for the management of the benefits services and healthcare management divisions. Additionally, she is responsible for the implementation of a new online application that was released to the public for lease called MRCE (Medicare Reporting Compliance Expert).

Prior to joining FARA in 2009, Laura was executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary for APS Healthcare, Inc. in Silver Spring, Maryland. Laura was responsible for all legal and regulatory compliance and risk management. Also, she has extensive experience in areas such as corporate financing, litigation management, employee benefit plans, mergers and acquisitions, contracting, licensing, and accreditation.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree concentrating in Accounting from Louisiana State University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Mrs. Tarantino has served as a Litigation Attorney and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
